It would be fantastic for an entry level computer science class or someone who just wants to understand how a game engine works. I had forgotten how different these console architectures were, and some of the gam decisions that went into those systems were truly remarkable I appreciate that Fabien took the time to put such a wonderful adventure together. For the PDF version, the author is not shipping a physical product so stripe or paypal or even Bitcoin will suffice.

I didn't even know the Wolf3d book existed, I'm really looking forward to this though. Top charts. But if you don't mind just skimming over it I think there is still much to be gained from the rest of the book. This is completely unethical to the entities the author have given the rights for distribution to.

A truly impressive book. Okay, there is also a prerelease price that is a few dollars lower, and frankly I'm not surprised. Since the book doesn't launch until Monday, the pie chart shown on the page is even more so. Although the pricing seems weird.
