Perhaps I've always found it captivating because it was the starkest reminder of how alone I was. Not saying when you were uncomfortable, Ghost Boy is one of the most inspirational and engaging books I have ever read. Want to Read Currently Reading Read.     This book was also a great exploration pcf people with non-verbal disabilities and how dehumanizing it can feel, so it really expanded my sympathy and made me more conscientious of people whose lives are like Martin's.
