I will stick with it. This book is totally great and great for beginners who feel like they can probably skip the kids stuff. His How to Cook Everything books, but I've found a few flaws in some recipes I've tried, are a mainstay of the modern kitchen. I feel bad giving Mark Bittman only 4 stars.
