Real and Complex Analysis - Walter Rudin, WALTER AUTOR RUDIN - Google книги

It seems that you're in Germany. We have a dedicated site for Germany. This is the first volume of the two-volume book on real and complex analysis. This volume is an introduction to measure theory and Lebesgue measure where the Riesz representation theorem is used to construct Lebesgue measure. Intended for undergraduate students of mathematics and engineering, it covers the essential analysis that is needed for the study of functional analysis, developing the concepts rigorously with sufficient detail and with minimum prior knowledge of the fundamentals of advanced calculus required. Divided into three chapters, it discusses exponential and measurable functions, Riesz representation theorem, Borel and Lebesgue measure, -spaces, Riesz—Fischer theorem, Vitali—Caratheodory theorem, the Fubini theorem, and Fourier transforms. Further, it includes extensive exercises and their solutions with each concept.

I'm finding Ahlfors' text difficult. Any recommendations? I'm probably at an intermediate sophistication level for an undergrad. Visual Complex Analysis by Needham is good.

Oct 07, Julia rated it really liked it Shelves: math. I second the answer by "wildildildlife" but specially the book by Freitag - "Complex Analysis" and the recently feal second volume to be published this summer. Jan 07, Detu rated it did not like it. About Walter Rudin. This was a difficult book the first time I went through it.

The Basic Library List Committee strongly recommends this book for acquisition by undergraduate mathematics libraries. This book is full of interesting things, mostly proofs. The chapter on Banach algebras is a gem; this subject combines algebra, analysis, and topology, and the exposition shows clearly how the three areas work together. Walter Rudin — wrote the book in to show that real and complex analysis should be studied together rather than as two subjects, and to give a a modern treatment. Fifty years later it is still modern. The first third of the book is devoted to measure and integration. It includes brief introductions to Hilbert space and Banach spaces, with material that will be used in the complex-variables proofs later.

Not to be confused with Complexity theory. There is also Complex Variables and Applications by Churchill which is geared towards engineers. I think Using the Mathematics Literature may be helpful to answer your question. Books by Walter Rudin.

Categories compldx Complex analysis. Priestley's book is very good. Consequently, this site works much better if you enable JavaScript in your browser. JavaScript is currently disabled, complex differentiability has much stronger implications than real differentiability.
